JDS Sample Dollars
Your Sample Dollar balance is designed to help you explore products, create stronger sales materials, and show customers what JDS has to offer. Here’s how to use it successfully.
Why use them?
Use Sample Dollars to get products into your hands before you recommend them, decorate them, photograph them, or share them.
Try new products
Evaluate a product before adding it to your regular offering.
Create product photos
Make your own decorated samples for your website, social media, and promotions.
Build your showroom
Show customers the materials, colors, and finishes you can provide.
Share with customers
Give customers a closer look at a product before they place a larger order.
What qualifies... and what doesn’t.
Two details will occasionally cause confusion at checkout: quantity and available balance. Check both before requesting to use Sample Dollars.
Qualifies
• One or two pieces of an item.
• An individual item priced at or below your available Sample Dollar balance.
• Sample sets, retail catalogs, and other eligible marketing materials.
Does not qualify
• More than two pieces of the same item. The additional pieces must be paid for.
• An individual item priced above your available balance.
• Using Sample Dollars as a partial discount on a more expensive item.

A quick check before checkout keeps your order moving and makes sure the right items use your Sample Dollars.
Check your balance
Sign in to the JDS website and select Account to see your current Sample Dollar balance.
Choose qualifying items
Select one or two pieces per item and make sure each item’s price is equal to or less than your available balance.
Request Sample Dollars
Ordering online? Open Order Instructions during checkout and tell us which items should use your balance. Ordering by phone? Ask your Customer Service Representative.
$99 Free Freight
Sample Dollars do not count toward the Free Freight minimum. Your order must include $99 or more in paid merchandise to receive Free Freight. Otherwise, standard shipping charges apply.
Use your balance by December 31.
Sample Dollars do not roll over. On January 1, your balance is re-established based on qualifying purchases from the previous year. Check your balance, find a product you’ve been wanting to try, and put those dollars to work.
